Jesse Alex is a singer, songwriter, melodic composer, keyboardist, guitarist that has been performing throughout the Tri- State Area at famous venues such as The Stonewall Inn and The Bitter End in New York City along with singing and playing venues throughout South Florida and Los Angeles, California, including a sold out performance at the legendary Viper Room on the Sunset Strip.
Jesse began her repertoire by studying at NYU Tisch School Of The Arts and has had extensive vocal training under Broadway elites such as Michael Longoria and Lindsey Carothers.
Influences include Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, John Lennon, Amy Whinehouse, Joni Mitchell, Billie Holiday, Cheryl Crow, Tom Petty, The Beatles, Riopy, Ludwig Van Beethoven, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Sonny & Cher, Pat Benetar, and Broadway productions such as Rent, Cats, and The Phantom of the Opera.
Her broad vocal range has enabled her to be adaptable to many genres, including jazz, blues, reggae, country, pop and broadway theater. Today, she continues to write and record her music, and has shifted into folk revival political activism pieces. Her latest hit, ‘Bandaid,’ an upbeat pop protest revival is available on all steaming platforms.
